Anna Tibstra
MA, LMFT
I approach therapy from a person-centered, relational viewpoint. In academic terms, I pull from a variety of modalities, primarily Narrative, Existential, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy models, and use tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Bowenian Family Systems. For my clients, that means that we will talk about what is important to you and what seems to be getting in the way of moving closer to that, whether it’s symptoms of depression or anxiety, messages and coping skills that you’ve learned in the past that no longer serve you, or a need to clarify what it is that is important to you.
I have a Master of Arts degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington, license LF 61109488. I also have a profile at TherapyDen.
